Andrea Sallee (she/her) has been a professional doula since 2022 and personally supporting families most of her adult life as she and her husband are blessed with a huge family and close to 20 nieces, nephews and siblings. Her doula path began in 2020, sparked by the profound experience of supporting her best friend through pregnancy and the early days of her daughter's life. Witnessing and supporting the transformative power of parenthood, Andrea realized she had found her calling, even before she knew what it was called.
She considers it her privilege and honor to hold space for these sacred moments and witness the magic in each family's story—the quiet or roaring strength of the birthing parent, the heartwarming bond between adoptive families, the dedication of surrogate mothers, and the awe in parents' eyes as they meet their baby for the first time.
Whether a family is birthing at home, in a hospital, or at a birth center, Andrea remains by their side every step of the way. Her heart is in surrounding clients with support that honors their unique story, ensuring they feel nurtured, empowered, and deeply cared for as they grow and birth their baby and settle into their precious time as a new family.
Beyond her doula work, being Auntie Andee or “DD” is the light of Andrea's heart. This is closely followed by her love for baking, traveling, nature walks, and performing one-woman show musicals in her car. Grabbing a coffee and strolling by the river is one of her favorite ways to connect.
